Three small things a day. That's the whole practice.
Dailylet is a gratitude journal for iPhone with nothing to keep up with. No streak to protect, no score to raise. Miss a week and nothing is lost.
A cup of coffee
Someone who waited for me
The light at four in the afternoon
Three lines is enough
Your journal stays on your phone
What you write, your photos, your moods and your places are stored only on your device. Our server has no endpoint that could receive them, so we can't read them and we can't hand them to anyone.
Only on your phone
Daily entries, moods and photos
Wish boards and wish lists
Your breathing sessions
Things you love, and places (including their location)
Saved affirmations and badges
What your account holds
The phone number or email you sign in with, stored encrypted
Your profile: nickname, photo and the like
Settings such as reminder time and sound
Usage events, such as which feature was opened. Never anything you wrote, and deleted after 180 days
It also means that a new phone, or deleting the app, won't bring your journal back with your account. Signing in restores your nickname, photo and settings only. The support page explains this in detail.
Besides the journal
Five ways to breathe for a minute, and one minute counts. A bin for the thoughts that keep circling, where the words themselves are never saved. A wish board you arrange by hand, the things you love, and places worth remembering. No ads.
